Known as the industry leader, Crane Composites Kemlite Transportation Products are fiberglass reinforced plastic (frp) panels. Their panels are made to last and provide the solutions needed to existing issues within the transportation market – longer life span, more abuse resistant, easier to maintain, easier to repair, greater payload, easier loading and unloading.
Crane Composites' unique process can produce panels in a thickness range from 0.05" up to 0.24". Panels can be produced to your specific length and width requirements - from a 4' X 8' panel up to a 9' X 600' coil. Panel finishes are available with an embossed or smooth surface. Kemlite Transportation products can be produced using a thermoset or thermoplastic resin base.
Products produced by Crane Composites must pass "real world" test requirements. These tests focus on puncture and impact strengths as well as tear strength and rivet pullout strength. Crane Composites' unique manufacturing process allows for the use of coarse, stiff fiberglass that contributes significantly to the excellent physical properties of its panels. Panels can also be produced using a heavy-duty woven roving. |
